Professional Furniture Service Inc. was founded in 1978. Owner Ken Larbes purchased the company in 1984 after many years in a related upholstery and wood repair business.

Professional Furniture Service, Inc. specializes in all types of wood repair and furniture restoration. With over 70 years combined experience in repair and restoration of both modern and antique furniture, the technicians at PFS use the best methods and the latest technology available.

Ken has visited and studied restoration techniques in Europe with the Association of Restorers. One of his most memorable jobs was restoring the antique piano at the Taft House in Cincinnati for the National Historic Society. Ken has also restored frames for the Cincinnati Art Museum.
